Welcome to EasyPatterns!
Below is FAQ-style info about my website. Thank you for visiting.
How do I purchase one of these patterns?
Just send me an e-mail (tomgronek@yahoo.com) specifying
which pattern you’re looking to purchase and I will send you a PayPal
invoice. Once the invoice is paid, I
will send you an e-mail with two files – one with the pattern in black &
white, and one with the pattern in colour.
All prices listed on the website are in Canadian dollars but I try to issue invoices in your home currency.
If you’d like to have the invoice issued in a specific currency please
let me know so in your e-mail. Here’s a link
listing current prices in three other major currencies (US dollar, Euro,
British pound).

I don’t have a PayPal account.
How do I pay?
You don’t have to have a PayPal
account. Just follow the prompts on the
invoice you receive and you’ll be able to pay without having to set up an
account. Unfortunately, PayPal is the
only way I am able to receive money unless it’s cash but that can be very
inconvenient and not very secure.
I have paid the invoice but still haven’t received the patterns. When can I expect to get them?
As soon as I can get to it. I still have a full-time 9-5 job (North
American Eastern Time Zone) and have no access to my files at work. Once home, I have a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old to deal with. While I try to
get the e-mails out as fast as possible, your patience is greatly appreciated.
Most of these patterns are huge.
Do you have anything smaller?
The standard size of the patterns
is just under 11.5x11.5 inches. I have a
handful of patterns in an 8x10 format and can create more as requested. Other smaller, or bigger, patterns can be
created as well but smaller patterns will not have as great a detail as my
standard patterns and may not look as good.

Do the files include a list of what colours of threads to use?
Yes, a complete list is included
in additional to the approximate amount needed of each thread.
One of the patterns I bought says to use so-and-so colour but I think
it should so-and-so-dark. Which one
should I use?
Use whichever one you
prefer. The list of colours included are
my suggestions only and you are free to use any colour you want even if it’s
blue instead of red. Majority of the
images I use to create patterns are downloaded from the internet and I never
see in person. I try to be as accurate
as I can but I will never be 100% accurate.
Are you able to print the pattern and mail it to me?
I’d prefer not to do it but it is
possible. However, I will only send a
black & white version of the pattern as colour printing can get very
expensive. Also, you will need to cover
the cost of postage which generally can be more than the cost of the
pattern. That is why to prevent major
headaches, online/e-mail transactions are the way to go.
Do you still have the so-and-so pattern available?
Yes, of course. I have the patterns saved and backed up as
PDF files so they should never be unavailable.
I am a fan of multiple teams but would only like to purchase one pattern. Is there a way to somehow combine the two together?
Sure. Here is an example of a mash-up I did where I used two of my existing patterns to create one. The second example is portions of multiple patterns.
Do you create custom patterns?
Yes. Send me a photo and I will see what can be done with it.
Some of the colours in your patterns are discontinued. What should I use instead?
